  Fort Hall—Spotlight City

  Established by Nathaniel Wyeth in 1834 as a post for supplies he failed to sell at a rendezvous, Fort Hall became part of the Fort Hall Indian Reservation, home to displaced bands of the Shoshone and Bannock Tribes. Although the reservation today, at 544,000 acres, is less than one-third its original size, the future of Fort Hall belongs to its people.
