14-16 Pierce Winter Festival: This festival features a Snow sculpture contest, the Ice Man Relay (a combination of snowshoeing, sledding and running, then diving into the icy creek in town.) Not for the faint of heart, for sure!  There will be sledding with the Mayor, a community breakfast, and other events  Pierce.

14-23    Sandpoint Winter Carnival: Our town’s “antidote to cabin fever” includes piles of live music, festivals and events for kids and adults all around the downtown; major happenings up on Schweitzer including the “Let it Glow” fireworks show; sleigh and wagon rides at Western Pleasure Guest Ranch, and more. 16   Winter Faculty Recital Tea Time Serenade: This is an opportunity to listen together to the warmth of classical music within Little Carnegie. Featuring the extraordinary talent of Music Conservatory faculty. All proceeds benefit the youth of our community who wish to learn to sing or play an instrument.
