Basil Service is a third-generation Idahoan, a graduate of ISU, and a fully certified (Level III) member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America. A member for two decades of the Sun Valley Ski School, he has contributed writings and photography to four books and more than a dozen periodicals. Basil lives in Ketchum, where he and his dog, Sophie, spend much of their free time wandering in Idaho’s wilderness.
