About Keith C. Petersen

Keith C. Petersen served as Idaho’s state historian and associate director of the Idaho State Historical Society. The author of numerous writings about the Northwest, including the books River of Life, Channel of Death: Fish and Dams on the Lower Snake and John Mullan: The Tumultuous Life of a Western Roadbuilder, he has twice received the Idaho Book Award.
